Dentistry for Children

Dr. Koff believes that a child’s first dental visit should start between ages 2 and 3 years. Often if mom or dad has a scheduled visit, the youngster can come in to roam around the office and treatment areas. Dr. Koff will usually interact and gauge the child’s readiness for an exam, and he may suggest he count the child’s teeth, give a toothbrush or sticker, or polish his or her teeth. His goal is to gently introduce your child to the world of dentistry in a non-threatening manner and make coming to the dentist a fun experience.
